Why I support Cambridge
People support Cambridge for as many reasons as there are crusading causes and passionate interests. They support Cambridge because they want to give back to a University that has given them so much. They also support Cambridge because the teaching and research taking place across the collegiate University, matters on a global scale. Here, some of our committed supporters – alumni and friends of Cambridge – tell their own stories.

Dame Stephanie ('Steve') Shirley "My support is for pioneering, strategic projects in the two things I know and care about: IT (my professional discipline) and autism (my late son's disorder) ..."
Mark Pigott "Young men and women are the future, and by providing them with the opportunity to learn about the world, all of society benefits ..."
Peter and Jessica Frankopan "Why are there few women composers... why do men trade differently in the financial markets to women, and why is this changing? ..."
Professor Hugh Mellor "I owe so much to the staff and students of the Cambridge Philosophy Faculty that I thought this Chair, which I was honoured to hold, should be endowed ..."
Ai-Quang Tonthat "Back during my days, Judge Business School was very new. I wanted to say thank you to the School and to the people who had taken it to the top..."
